- Remove front wheels.
- Unscrew hexagon collar bolt on front axle shaft.
- Take off bottom engine compartment panel at front.
- Detach linkage for headlamp leveling device on lower transverse control arm.
- Press supporting joint out of steering knuckle.
- Turn front of steering knuckle outwards and then pull outwards, while moving front axle shaft out of front axle shaft flange. Do not damage boots of front axle shaft and of supporting joint.
