Anti-theft radios have a coded theft protection circuit. The CODE card must be obtained before disconnecting battery, removing radio fuse or removing the radio. The serial number from the radio must match the CODE card.

- If drive belt is being reused, mark direction of rotation to assist during installation.
- Rotate alternator belt tensioner arm counterclockwise, using a suitable tool to relieve tension from drive belt.
