- Remove body push-in retainer and lift side marker up and out of fascia to disconnect lower tabs.
- Rotate side marker bulb socket assembly counterclockwise and remove it from housing.
- Remove side marker lamp assembly.
- Remove headlamp bracket to structure bolts.
- Insert suitable flat-bladed tool through upper structure opening and push locking tab toward rear of vehicle to disconnect headlamp bracket lower arm.

- Remove righthand splash shield.
- Remove tensioner through access hole in inner and outer engine rail using accessory belt tensioner unloader tool No. J-44811, or equivalent. Remove accessory drive belt.
- Disconnect compressor electrical harness.
- Remove mounting bolts and compressor.
- Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
