The Message Center will perform a system inspection of monitored systems and will indicate either system is OK or a warning message. To perform the System Check proceed as follows:

  • Place the ignition switch in the On position.
  • Press Message Center Set Up button.
  • From Set Up Menu select System Check.
  • Press the RESET button to start system inspection.
  • The Message Center will cycle through the monitored systems and display an OK or Warning Message for 4 seconds.

If tire pressure is severely low or high the Message Center will display a Warning Tire Very Low, Check Tire Pressure or Check Spare Tire Pressure warning. After correcting tire pressure, proceed as follows:

  • Place the ignition switch in the On position.
  • With the Warning Check Tire Pressure warning displayed, depress the Message Center RESET button to clear the warning message.
  • The Warning Check Tire Pressure or Check Spare Tire Pressure message will reappear every 10 minutes after message has been cleared until the tire pressure condition has been corrected.
