  • Disconnect upper and lower transmission fluid cooler fittings using suitable back-up wrench.
  • Disconnect lower radiator hose.
  • Disconnect clamp and degas hose.
  • Remove radiator mounting bolts, upper support brackets, jack handle and wheel nut wrench.
  • Remove radiator.
  • Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
    • Torque bracket mounting bolts to 22 ft. lbs.
    • Torque transmission cooler fittings to 21 ft. lbs.

  • Connect a suitable manifold gauge set to discharge (high) and suction (low) pressure fittings.
  • Start engine, then set A/C to MAX position and blower setting to maximum speed.
  • Stabilize in-vehicle temperature to 70-80°F.
  • Maintain engine speed at approximately 1500 RPM.
