On 1993 models, when replacing compressor drain old and new units. Add oil to new compressor equal to 2.7 ozs. minus amount drained from old unit.
When replacing other system components add the following amount of new oil: evaporator, 1.0 oz.; condenser, .3 oz.; receiver/drier, .3 oz.; line, .3 oz.
On 1994-95 models, when replacing compressor drain old and new units. Add oil to new compressor equal to 4.7 ozs. minus amount drained from old unit, but do not add more than 1.7 ozs. of oil.

System Diagnosis
When diagnosing system, use large fan to substitute for normal ram air flow through condenser, run engine at normal fast idle speed, ensure system is fully charged and that all conditions are equivalent to 30 mph.
Diagnose system according to symptoms and gauge readings.
