- Raise and support front of vehicle.
- Drain differential lubricant.
- Remove wheel and tire assembly.
- Remove and discard driveshaft retaining nut.
- Remove and discard stabilizer bar link nuts. Use a wrench on hexagon provided to prevent ball joint from rotating.
- Remove bolt and brake hose bracket from wheel knuckle.
- Loosen tie-rod end ball joint retaining nut. Ensure the ball joint seal is not damaged. A damaged seal will lead to the premature failure of the joint.

- Disconnect cooling fan control electrical connector.
