- Disconnect battery ground cable.
- Remove underbody air dam.
- Remove right front wheelhouse splash shield.
- Remove alternator drive belt.
- Relocate A/C compressor. Do not disconnect A/C lines when relocating A/C compressor. Support A/C compressor when relocating. Failure to properly support A/C compressor can cause damage to lines and or seals. This can cause a leak in A/C system.
- Unsnap plastic insulator cap from B+ output terminal.
- Remove B+ terminal mounting nut at rear of alternator. Disconnect terminal from alternator.
