Front
Halfshaft inner and outer boots are not serviceable separately. Boot replacement requires entire shaft assembly replacement.
Lefthand halfshaft is shorter than right. Identify and tag halfshafts upon removal to ensure proper installation.
- Raise and support vehicle, then remove tire and wheel assembly.
- While holding link ball joint stem from rotating, remove stabilizer link to shock clevis bracket nut.
- Slide link ball joint stem from clevis bracket.
- Remove clevis bracket to bottom of shock nut and pinch bolt.

There are two types of TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitor Systems) available, a base system and a premium system. The Base TPMS consists of tire pressure monitoring sensors attached to each road wheel through the valve stem mounting hole, a central receiver module and an indicator lamp. The Premium TPMS consists of tire pressure monitoring sensors attached to each road wheel through the valve stem mounting hole, a WCM (Wireless Control Module), three wheel sensor transponders located in three of the four wheel wells, an electronic display, and an indicator lamp.

The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) monitors a variety of sensors and systems. Each time the ignition is turned On, the instrument panel Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) should light for approximately 2 seconds and then go out. If the PCM senses a fault condition with a monitored circuit or if the PCM enters Limp-In mode, a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) in is stored in the PCM memory. After diagnosing and servicing the vehicle, use a suitable scan tool to erase DTCs and to reset the MIL.
