Vehicle: 2008 Smart Fortwo Passion 1.0 L3 GAS
- Raise and support vehicle.
- Unbolt nut of trailing arm link on axle tube and remove bolt with lock washer.
- Remove rear wheel and tire assembly.
- Remove rear axle hub nut.
- Press axle tube to one side using a suitable forked lever (prybar). Do not press axle tube too far to one side as damage to shock absorber can occur.
- Pull rear axle shaft out of wheel hub and guide upwards out of wheel area. Do not pull rear axle shaft apart otherwise the ball...
