- Raise and support vehicle.
- Unbolt nut of trailing arm link on axle tube and remove bolt with lock washer.
- Remove rear wheel and tire assembly.
- Remove rear axle hub nut.
- Press axle tube to one side using a suitable forked lever (prybar). Do not press axle tube too far to one side as damage to shock absorber can occur.

Removal of front end assembly is required to access radiator assembly.
- Remove righthand and lefthand air inlet grills at windshield.
- Remove antenna rod.
- Remove plastic rivet and take out fender cover on left and right sides.
- Remove front license plate holder, if equipped.
- Carefully loosen clips by pressing catches and remove radiator grill from center part of CBS front end. Remove radiator grill carefully otherwise paintwork may be damaged.
