- Disconnect battery ground cable.
- Reposition positive battery cable boot at alternator terminal.
- Remove positive battery cable nut at alternator, then positive battery cable terminal from alternator.
- Disconnect engine harness connector from alternator.
- Remove air cleaner assembly.
- Remove engine mount strut to engine mount strut bracket bolts.
- Rotate engine mount strut to vertical position.
- Remove engine mount strut bracket bolts, then engine mount strut bracket.
- Rotate drive belt tensioner clockwise to release drive belt tension.
