- Apply and release park brake several times. Ensure lever is released completely.
- Turn ignition to On position and ensure red BRAKE lamp is not illuminated. If lamp is illuminated, verify following:
- Park brake lever is in released position and against stop.
- There is no slack in park brake cable.
- Raise and support vehicle.
- With parking brake pedal fully released, check parking brake levers on rear calipers. The levers should be against stops on caliper housings.

- Raise and support vehicle.
- Remove and discard propeller shaft sliding yoke bolts, nuts and washers.
- Remove and discard propeller shaft coupling bolts.
- Remove propeller shaft.
- Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
- Lubricate sliding yoke with suitable transmission lubricant.
- Torque propeller shaft coupling to propeller shaft bolts to 13 ft. lbs. and then an additional 55°
- Torque propeller shaft yoke to propeller coupling bolts 13 ft. lbs. and then an additional 55°.

- Drain cooling system into suitable container.
- Remove mounting bolts and radiator front air deflector, then the retainer and shroud air inlet.
- Remove air cleaner outlet duct resonator and Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) hose clamps.
- Remove air cleaner outlet duct resonator.
- Disconnect cooling fan motor electrical connector.
- Remove mounting bolts, shroud, cooling fan and motor.

- Remove intake manifold cover, oil fill cap and insulator. Install oil fill cap.
