Compressor Clutch Does Not Engage
- Inspect condition of A/C system wires, connections and fuses.
- Inspect A/C compressor drive belt for wear or improper tension.
- Start engine, then turn A/C On.
- Briefly connect both blue wires (terminal Nos. 1 and 2) on A/C pressure switch using a suitable jumper wire. Do not jump terminals longer than required. Damage will occur to clutch and A/C system.
- If A/C compressor clutch engages, system is low on refrigerant.

Always connect cables at control end first and ensure control is properly mounted before adjusting cable.
After cable installation, inspect for proper operation. Controls should move freely in each direction.
