- Connect a suitable jumper wire between motor connector terminal and positive battery terminal, Fig. .
- Connect a suitable ammeter between fan motor connector and negative battery terminal.
- Current should be 8-13 amps.
- If current is not as specified or fan motor does not turn smoothly, replace fan motor.

- Release ABS control unit electrical connector latch, then disconnect harness.
- Remove ABS control unit four mounting screws, then the unit.
- Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
- Torque ABS control unit mounting screws to 108-144 inch lbs.
- Torque front passenger seat bolts to 32-36 ft. lbs.

- Remove drain plug and drain transaxle fluid into suitable container.
- Remove wheel nuts and front wheels.
- Remove driveshaft cotter pin, castle nut and washer from front hub.
- Disconnect tie rod end ball joint from steering knuckle using suitable tool.Do not damage dust cover or oil seal.
