Description
The Climatronic digital climate control module is incorporated into the climate control assembly and cannot be serviced separately. The Climatronic unit receives input from several sensors and switches and uses these input signals to control output actuators.

The electric cooling fan uses a radiator thermoswitch to control fan motor operation. The fan operates at first speed when engine coolant temperature is 192°F. The fan operates at second speed when coolant temperature is 203°F. Additionally, thermostatically controlled fan shutters are used to control airflow through the radiator. The shutters are controlled by a unit located between the fan units, mounted on the fan shroud.
