The brake booster consists of a power cylinder section and a power piston section. The power cylinder is made up of a front shell, rear shell and a diaphragm. The front and rear shells are connected with the diaphragm placed in between the two. - Disconnect vacuum hose from brake booster.
- Working from inside the passenger compartment, remove snap pin and operating rod clevis pin from brake pedal assembly.
- Remove brake booster retaining nuts, then brake booster from vehicle.
- Reverse procedure to install. Torque brake booster retaining nuts to 10-17 ft. lbs.
