  • Remove the engine cover, then disconnect electrical connectors from compressor and clutch.
  • Loosen idle pulley and disconnect compressor drive belt.
  • Remove compressor manifold attaching bolt and manifold from rear of compressor, then cap all connections.
  • Remove carburetor vacuum break to provide clearance, if necessary.
  • Remove bolts securing compressor to mounting bracket, then compressor, Fig. .
  • Reverse procedure to install, using new O-rings when installing manifold.
