- Empty coolant from core using compressed air.
- Remove glove compartment as follows:
- Open glove compartment, then the covers to expose retaining screws.
- Remove all retaining screws, retaining bolt and expanding rivet in front edge, then the catch from bulkhead bracket.
- Remove glove compartment and disconnect glove compartment lamp connector.

- Recover refrigerant as outlined under .
- Remove grille.
- Disconnect pressure monitors' electrical connectors.
- Remove screws securing hoses to receiver-drier.
- Remove screw securing receiver-drier to holder on condenser.
- Remove receiver-drier and plug all openings.
- Unscrew pressure monitors.
