- Remove water pump in numbered sequence, Fig. .
- Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
- Coat water pump O-ring with water or coolant to facilitate installation. Do not allow oil to contact O-ring.
- Refill cooling system as necessary.

- Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
- On Avenger and Sebring Coupe models, ensure thermostat is installed with jiggle valve positioned as shown, Fig. .
- On all models, connect coolant hoses by sliding each hose onto fitting as far as projection on fitting will allow.
