- Recover refrigerant as outlined under .
- Disconnect wiring harness at low pressure cycling clutch switch and loosen screw at accumulator retaining band.
- Disconnect suction line from accumulator, then accumulator inlet tube from the evaporator. Install plugs or tape over all open refrigerant lines.
- Remove accumulator from retaining band.
- Reverse procedure to install.
