- Loosen alternator adjusting bolt, then remove alternator drive belt.
- Remove water pump pulley attaching bolts and the water pump pulley.
- Remove water pump to housing attaching bolts then the water pump.

- Rotate belt tensioner using open end wrench until 10 mm hex key can be inserted into socket head bolt, then remove belt tensioner.
- Thread 5/8X18 UNF bolt into compressor clutch, tighten bolt and remove clutch assembly. If compressor belt is to be replaced, remove alternator and water pump pulleys.
