- Disconnect ambient temperature sensor connector.
- Measure resistance between terminals of sensor, then measure temperature around sensor.
- If resistance is not as shown in Fig. , replace ambient temperature sensor.

- Place dry-bulb thermometer in center ventilator outlet.
- Place wet and dry-bulb thermometers at blower inlet.
- Open all doors, then run engine at a constant 1500 RPM.
- Push A/C Auto switch to On position.
- Using Temp switch, set temperature to 65°F.
- Operate A/C system until output temperature stabilizes. Ensure reading on pressure gauge is. as follows:
