Remove the seat cushion.
Remove the fuel pump floor service cover.
Disconnect the fuel pump electrical connector.
Start the engine and allow to idle until it stalls.
Place the ignition switch in the Lock position.
Disconnect the battery ground cable.
Connect the fuel pump electrical connector.
Install the fuel pump floor service cover.

Drain out gear oil fluid.
Remove cotter pin and nut from tie rod end.
Using a suitable puller or SST 09923-00020 disconnect tie rod end from steering knuckle.
Remove nut and disconnect stabilizer bar link from lower arm.
Remove bolt and two nuts.
Disconnect steering knuckle from lower ball joint.
Place match marks on drive shaft and side gear shaft or center drive shaft. Do not use a punch to mark matchmarks. Use paint, etc.
