MODE CONTROL MOTOR TEST
- Disconnect function control motor electrical connector.
- Using a suitable digital ohmmeter, measure resistance between terminals 3 and 5 of motor, Fig. . Resistance should measure 6000 ohms.
- Check motor operation by briefly connecting battery positive terminal to terminal 2 and battery negative terminal to terminal 1.
- Reverse wires to ensure motor will run in both directions.
- Disconnect battery from motor as soon as motor has started. Failure to do so will damage motor.
