Disconnect strut secured from lower part of dashboard to gear shift support.
Disconnect speedometer cable, instrument cluster harness and heater-A/C control panel, then remove dashboard.

Release upper return spring, then position a clamp on brake cylinder and move shoes outward as far as possible.
Remove adjusting lever with spring, spacer cup and pushrod.
