- Place steering wheel in straight-ahead position.
- Turn ignition switch to Off position.
- Remove SRS fuse SRS-1 from instrument panel lefthand lower fuse block.
- Disconnect driver's air bag yellow two-pin connector at steering column base.
- Remove two glove box lower mounting screws, then the glove box.
- Disconnect passenger's air bag yellow two-pin connector through glove box through glove box opening.

- Remove glove compartment retaining screws, then the glove compartment.
- Disconnect blower motor electrical connector.
- Disconnect blower motor cooling tube, then position tube aside.
- Remove blower motor mounting screws, then the blower motor.
- Remove blower motor fan retaining clip using suitable pliers.
- Remove fan from blower motor.
- Reverse procedure to install.
