- Disconnect red short connectors and place in holders.
- Connect air bag module electrical connector.
- Connect battery cables.
- Turn ignition switch to On position, SRS lamp should illuminate for six seconds then go out.
- Turn radio On, when word CODE appears enter 5 digit protection number.

Inspect for continuity between terminals, Figs. and .
A/C Thermostat
- Connect battery power to terminal C and ground terminal B, then connect a 12V 3W-19W test light between terminals A and C, Fig. .
- Dip thermostat into cup filled with ice water and inspect test light.
- Test light should go off at 37°F or less and should come on at 39°F or more. If light doesn't come on and go off as specified, replace A/C thermostat.
