- Raise and support vehicle, then remove wheel and caliper as outlined under "Caliper Service."
- Remove retainers securing rotor to hub, Fig. , then slide rotor off hub studs.
- Reverse procedure to install.
Rear
- Raise and support vehicle, then remove wheel and caliper as outlined under "Caliper Service."

Removal
Front
- Remove and discard 2/3 of brake fluid from largest master cylinder reservoir.
- Raise and support vehicle, then remove front wheel.
- Press caliper piston to bottom of bore using suitable screwdriver or c-clamp.
- Disconnect brake hose at caliper and cap hose.
- On 1997-98 models, remove caliper mounting pins.
- On 1999 models, remove caliper spring support by prying spring out of caliper.
- On all models, remove caliper slide pin bushing caps and slide pins.
- Lift caliper up and out of anchor plate and off rotor.

- Raise and support vehicle, then remove wheel and caliper mounting bolt...
