Note type of coolant, do not allow red coolant to be mixed with any other type.
These engines do not require a specified bleed procedure. Set heater control on "Warm," then fill with coolant until expansion tank is full, run engine and continue to fill until level remains constant. Install expansion tank cap, then continue to run engine until cooling fan operates. Check coolant level and top off as necessary.

On these models there is no mechanical brake pressure regulator. Specially matched control module software controls brake pressure regulation.
A6 & S6
Brake pressure regulator is mounted on body (lefthand rear), and operated by a spring attached to the rear axle. Prior to inspection, ensure system is properly bled and filled.
- Firmly depress brake pedal once, with vehicle on ground.

Do not smoke or allow an open flame of any type when working on or near any fuel system related components. The highly flammable vapor mixtures may ignite, resulting in serious personal injury.
Obtain the vehicle owner's radio theft protection code, then disconnect the battery ground cable. Briefly open fuel filler cap to relieve system pressure, then close it again.
After the battery has been disconnected and reconnected, some abnormal driveability symptoms may occur. The vehicle may need to be driven while it relearns its adaptive strategy.
