If a code is unavailable, on repairs that do not require air bag system disarming, a "Computer Memory Saver" should be plugged into the cigarette lighter to maintain a constant voltage to the radio.
If radio is disabled proceed as follows to reactivate system.

- Turn ignition switch to the Off position.
- Remove rear seat.
- Remove spring retaining electrical connector, then disconnect electrical connector.
- Remove screws securing control unit.
