- Remove center console.
- Disconnect warning switch connector, Fig. .
- Remove bolts.
- Slacken off and remove adjusting nut.
- Remove parking brake cable lock plate, Fig. .
Inspection
Check for wear and damage at all connecting points and replace as necessary. Ensure warning lamp and switch are functioning properly.
Adjustment
- Loosen parking brake cable.

Do not spill brake fluid on painted surfaces, it may cause damage to the paint. If brake fluid is spilled, wash immediately with water.
- Place container under master cylinder to avoid spillage, then fill master cylinder with brake fluid.
- Connect hose to bleeder valves, then depress brake pedal several times.
- With pressure applied to pedal open bleeder valve to release air trapped in system.
- Close bleeder, then release pedal slowly.

- Drain brake fluid by attaching hose to each wheel cylinder, then open each bleeder valve while depressing brake pedal.
- Mark each brake pipe connector for proper installation.
- Disconnect electrical connector, brake pipes, then attaching nuts.

- Tap rotor with a suitable soft face driver to free it from hub.

Check rotor for roughness, cracks or chips.
Runout
