Vehicle: 2005 Land Rover Range Rover HSE 4.4 V8 GAS
- Disconnect battery ground cable.
- Raise and support vehicle. Do not work on or under a vehicle supported only by a jack. Always support vehicle on safety stands.
- Remove hood sealing rubber from air intake moulding.
- Release cover from positive cable.
- Remove nut and disconnect positive cable from stud.
- Remove nuts securing plenum and air intake plenum assembly.
- Release terminal cover, remove nut and disconnect cables from terminal post.

STARTER & ALTERNATOR REPLACEMENT PROCEDURES FOR 2005 Land Rover Range Rover AUTOMOBILES

Vehicle: 2005 Land Rover Range Rover HSE 4.4 V8 GAS
- Disconnect battery ground cable.
- Raise and support vehicle. Do not work on or under a vehicle supported only by a jack. Always support vehicle on safety stands.
- Drain cooling system.
- Release clips, then remove towing eye cover.
- Remove screws from front spoiler.
- Carefully position front spoiler aside for access.
- Remove screws securing left inner edge of wheel arch liner to undertray, repeat on right side.
- Remove remaining screws securing undertray, release panel and remove.
- Remove coolant hoses from clips on fan shroud.
- Remove screw securing fan shroud to radiator.
