FRANKLIN, Tenn., June 24 /PRNewswire/ -- It's a combination that promises fascinating results. Take one full-rally-prepped racing version of Nissan's exotic GT-R supercar. Add in World Champion Nissan rally/road racer Steve Millen, founder of Steve Millen Sportparts (STILLEN). Put them together in one of the most amazing seven-day competitions in North America. And then for good measure, offer an all-expense paid trip for two to watch it all unfold close-up and personal. It adds up to the "STILLEN 2009 Targa Newfoundland Sweepstakes," which is open for entries through June 30, 2009 (http://www.stillensweepstakes.com).

This year's Targa Newfoundland Rally will be run from September 12th through 19th over a 1,367-mile (2,200 kilometer) course, 20% of which is run on closed competition stages. Targa Newfoundland's organizers describe the event as "7 days of closed roads and open competition on the extreme edge of North America." More than 175,000 spectators are expected to attend.

Millen and his co-driver, an editor from Road & Track magazine, will be running the event in a modified version of the new 485-horsepower 3.8-liter twin-turbo V6 Nissan GT-R. The winner of sweepstakes and guest will have access to behind the scenes activities with Millen and his crew, traveling for part of the rally with the STILLEN support team. Additional sweepstakes prizes include STILLEN gift certificates and subscriptions to Road & Track.
