ProQuest Hosts FedEx NASCAR for Employee Event and Fundraiser for March of Dimes

By ProQuest

ANN ARBOR, Mich., June 9 /PRNewswire/ -- On Friday, June 12, from 1:00pm to 3:00pm, Ann Arbor-based ProQuest will host an outdoor employee event featuring FedEx NASCAR racer #11, the car driven by Denny Hamlin. ProQuest employees and their neighbors in Ann Arbor's 777 building will be dropping by for ice cream, car viewing and a chat with the car's caretakers about its history and specs. The event is an outgrowth of the successful working relationship between ProQuest and FedEx -- companies that also share a commitment to strong community give-back. In fact, this event will feature a fundraiser for the March of Dimes via a raffle for tickets to an upcoming race at Michigan International Speedway.

Media are encouraged to attend this fun, upbeat event. Officials from ProQuest, Ann Arbor SPARK and the Ann Arbor Chamber of Commerce will be on hand to discuss the bright spots in Southeastern Michigan's economy. March of Dimes representatives can address the importance of corporate support in tough times. With a backdrop of a great car on a summer afternoon, there are exceptional opportunities for engaging video footage and photos. And... you can grab some Stucci's ice cream, to boot.

The event takes place between 777 and 789 East Eisenhower in Ann Arbor (just off of State, kitty-corner from Briarwood Mall). A brief program at 1:30 features March of Dimes and ProQuest officials.

RSVP to Beth Dempsey (beth@bethdempsey.com) or ProQuest's Tina Taylor (tina.taylor@proquest.com).
