- NADA Appraisal Guides Creates Partnership with AARESC -

COSTA MESA, Calif., June 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Manufactured home appraisers certified with the MHV designation now have access to an online recertification course. This recertification is made possible by a partnership between NADA Appraisal Guides and the American Association of Real Estate Schools and Colleges (AARESC).

This new, easy to access course offers the certified personal property appraiser the ability to reaffirm their commitment to quality and recertification demonstrates that the appraiser has kept up with current trends in the manufactured home industry; as well as, the processes necessary for the HUD FHA Title I manufactured home appraisal. Recertification is a standard practice within the site-built appraisal community and will be an added benefit to the manufactured housing appraisal industry.

"We feel this course will fill a void in continuing education for personal property appraisers in the manufactured home industry," Sherrie Clevenger, managing editor for NADA Appraisal Guides said. "AARESC requires recertification every three years in order to assure the knowledge of the appraisers matriculating through their programs."
