Cars for Courage Office Relocates to Brooklyn Center, Minn.

MINNEAPOLIS, April 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Cars for Courage, Courage Center's vehicle donation program announced today it is moving its main office from Courage Center Golden Valley, to 6121 Brooklyn Blvd., Brooklyn Center, Minn., effective Friday, April 3, 2009. "Our new location, in a former car dealership, gives the Cars for Courage program more efficient space, parking, and will allow for further program growth," said Kelly Buttler, director, In-Kind Gifts. Cars for Courage began in 1996, and with the addition of the new Brooklyn Center office, has grown to 13 drop off locations. (Courage Center Golden Valley will continue to be a vehicle drop off location).

Courage Center is a nonprofit, 501C3 organization. If you itemize your taxes, your donation is tax deductible. Generally, your charitable contribution deduction is the gross proceeds from the sale of your vehicle.
