SAN DIEGO, March 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Solera Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: SLH), the leading global provider of software and services to the automobile insurance claims processing industry, today announced that it has hired Dudley W. Mendenhall to become its Chief Financial Officer, effective on or about March 30, 2009. Since August 2007, Mr. Mendenhall has been the Chief Financial Officer of Websense, Inc. (Nasdaq: WBSN), a global leader in integrated Web, data and email security solutions located in San Diego, California. Prior to his role at Websense, Inc., Mr. Mendenhall was Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of K2, Inc., a publicly-traded, international sporting equipment manufacturer that was acquired by Jarden Corporation in August 2007. Mr. Mendenhall's prior experience includes serving as Managing Director of the Corporate Finance Group at Ernst & Young Corporate Finance LLC and Managing Director & Group Head of the Entertainment & Media Group at Banc of America Securities.

Tony Aquila, Solera's President and Chief Executive Officer, said Mr. Mendenhall's background will be an asset in contributing to Solera's continued success in improving margins through higher efficiencies and waste-reduction efforts.
