San Francisco Company Leverages Innovative Technology and Processes to Alleviate Administrative Burdens Posed by Vehicle Transportation, Storage and Returns

SAN FRANCISCO, March 9 /PRNewswire/ -- MWW Group (www.mww.com), one of the nation's top ten public relations firms, announced today that it has been retained by AutoReturn, a San Francisco-based towing management and logistics company, to execute a six-month public affairs and public relations program. MWW Group will highlight the administrative benefits, such as heightened speed, efficiency and security, which AutoReturn's management service delivers to cities such as San Francisco.

The AutoReturn program will be run out of MWW Group's San Francisco office, with Government Affairs support to be provided by MWW Group in Los Angeles. MWW Group will work to establish and deepen relationships between AutoReturn executives and government leaders in different cities, as well as with the journalists and influentials who cover those cities.

"AutoReturn is the kind of smart, innovative company that is helping to lessen the strains of bureaucracy at a time when governmental efficiency is at a premium," said Sharon Barclay, senior vice president and general manager of MWW Group's San Francisco office. "We are proud to leverage our relationships with public officials, journalists and other influentials across the West Coast to help spread awareness of the important services that AutoReturn provides to San Francisco."

AutoReturn was founded in 2002, at a time when the municipal towing system in San Francisco was plagued with problems typical to the industry, such as long tow wait times, vehicle damage, property loss, fraud, limited reporting and accountability and widespread unrest. In response, AutoReturn's founding executives built a new type of organization -- a municipal towing management company that utilizes world-class technology, practices, and processes to deliver superior service to customers and municipalities. AutoReturn facilitates networked communication at every stage, from tow requests through vehicle return and disposal. As a result, AutoReturn's technology and processes limit administrative burdens on the city while increasing accountability, control and cost recoveries.
