The KIBMW electronic key interface is specifically designed for 2006 through 2008 model year 3-series and 5-series BMWs. Until now, it was extremely difficult to install vehicle security and remote start in these BMWs due to the original equipment manufacturer's use of ribbon cables at the ignition switch. The new KIBMW interface from Directed greatly eases the install of remote start in these vehicles and opens an entirely new market for our customers.

An XPRESSKIT DLPK CANBUS Multi Door Lock and Transponder Interface (sold separately) controls locks and convenience features and provides tachometer output. When combined with the KIBMW, these two XPRESSKIT interfaces provide a complete OEM integration solution, allowing a state-of-the-art Viper, Python, Clifford or any of our other security and remote start systems (sold separately) to seamlessly integrate with the vehicle.
