MONTREAL, Feb. 18 /PRNewswire/ - Averna today announced the release of Proligent(TM) 4.1, The Test Engineering Platform(TM), giving OEMs capabilities for updating remote test stations automatically, and for gaining quick access to massive amounts of test data. These companies will use the new Test Package Manager to deploy test software versions to stations anywhere in the world, and will use the new Data Warehouse to pull together terabytes of data for viewing in easy-to-create, customizable reports. In addition, the new version provides support for NI TestStand(TM) 4.1, the ready-to-run test executive from National Instruments.

Proligent Test Package Manager

The Test Package Manager enables test engineers to bundle and deploy executables, DLLs, and other binaries as version-specific test applications. This is automated on the operator station, thereby simplifying the entire process of installing and upgrading remote test systems. Rollbacks are also possible, allowing the engineer to return to a previous test version at any point in time. Using secure and reliable remoting tools built on information-age technology, OEMs can be confident that they are performing tests with the most recent change orders, and that they are obtaining the most accurate results.

Proligent Data Warehouse

Complementing the Proligent reporting dashboard, the Data Warehouse is an easily accessible and comprehensive test data repository. It helps managers efficiently gather terabytes of test data from across the company, and then easily create custom reports for in-depth analysis. In addition, The Data Warehouse enables them to create links between business intelligence systems for superior decision support.

Version 4.1 also incorporates performance improvements over previous versions, to better respond to the needs of a growing client base.
