HICKORY, N.C., Feb. 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Dale Jarrett Racing Adventure, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: DJRT), a "Full Throttle" lifetime experience company, is pleased to release its guidance for Fiscal Year ending December 31, 2008 as well as its outlook for 2009. Early results for Fiscal Year 2008 indicate a loss of $.01 a share compared to a loss in FY 2007 of $.04. Although revenues this year were basically flat compared to 2007, the significant improvement in our bottom line demonstrates our success in improving our overall efficiencies. Based upon the positive news that year to year sales show a 15% increase for 2008 and that many of those sales will reflect as revenues in Fiscal 2009, we also can project 2009 net profits at a positive $.02. According to CEO Tim Shannon, "Although the news in 2008 has been congested with talk of the recession and an economic downturn, Dale Jarrett Racing Adventure remains optimistic about 2009 and beyond. We expected to be back in the black in 2008, but are pleased to be able to report the meaningful gains we accomplished in 2008 by reducing losses by 75% and coming close to a return to profitability, despite obstacles the economy presented. What's more, the improvements we initiated in 2008 are being realized in tangible ways. We've got new racecars for 2009, including cars from such prominent racing teams as Dale Earnhardt Incorporated. Also, new for 2009, we've added a Craftsman Series style Racing Truck to our fleet of vehicles bringing yet more variety and excitement to our customers. Additionally for 2009, we're adding more race tracks to our schedule, creating even more opportunity for customers and corporations to experience 'Full Throttle Living' first hand. Chicagoland, Miami-Homestead Speedway, the new Nashville Speedway and the Texas Motor Speedway have already been added to the schedule with more being planned.
