DRIVE DIGITAL MEDIA USES CUTTING-EDGE TECHNOLOGY TO ALLOW UNPRECEDENTED ACCESS TO 2009 GRAND-AM RACING SEASON

OVERLAND PARK, Kan., Feb. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- The Grand-Am Road Racing Association has selected Drive Digital Media to produce a state-of-the-art digital media guide and related interactive assets to highlight the company's five auto racing series for the 2009 season including Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series, KONI Sports car Challenge, Ferrari Challenge, Ford Racing Mustang Challenge and SunTrust MOTO-ST Series.

Revolutionizing the motorsports industry's traditional media program, Grand-Am will now provide media centers, partners and sponsors with a custom-programmed, dynamic media guide. The interactive guide includes a downloadable software application, called a widget, allowing users a new level of access to the latest Grand-Am news including the status of drivers, schedules, track information, race results and more.

The widget is downloadable to 98% of all computers and takes just 58 seconds to install.

"We are thrilled to partner with Drive Digital Media to create the most modern, high-tech media guide available in the motorsports industry today," said Tammy Davis, Director of Communications with Grand-Am Road Racing. "This product will allow us to consistently provide up-to-date information about the 2009 Grand-Am racing season to our valued media partners and stakeholders."

The environmentally-friendly media guide replaces a 400-page media guide that was costly to print and difficult to use.

"This suite of interactive tools will change the dialogue between Grand-Am and their media partners," said Matthew Barksdale, President of Drive Digital Media. "Instead of distributing a booklet with stagnant information, we are providing Grand-Am with software that gives updated information throughout the season."

Grand-Am selected Drive to lead this ground-breaking project because of its reputation of helping clients think strategically and execute tactically through the use of the most advanced technology available.

"In an industry as fast-paced as ours, we are responsible for providing pertinent and timely information to our media partners," said Davis. "Drive is improving this channel of communication through the use of highly progressive technology, making it easier than ever to get information about Grand-Am."
