Truck of the Year Rolls on Goodyear Tires

AKRON, Ohio, Jan. 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- At this week's North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit, The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company (NYSE: GT) is proud to supply original equipment tires to the vehicle named as "Truck of the Year."

Goodyear's Wrangler SR-A and AT/S tires are used on various models of the 2009 Ford F-150, one of the most anticipated pickup trucks in recent years. Goodyear is supplying both P-metric and LT tires in a 275/65R18 size.

"Supplying the tires for one of the toughest, most popular trucks on the road is a job Goodyear is proud to claim," said Johann Finkelmeier, Goodyear's vice president, original equipment. "This truck is an eye-catcher, and we want the tires to play an important role in that appeal."

Goodyear also provides original equipment tires for the new Ford F-250/350 Super Duty trucks.
