ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich., Jan. 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Energy Conversion Devices, Inc. (ECD) (Nasdaq: ENER), a global manufacturer of thin- film flexible solar laminate products for the building integrated and commercial rooftop markets, today named Ted Amyuni President - Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Mr. Amyuni has over 30 years of senior executive global leadership experience in general management, operations management and commercial leadership roles.

Mr. Amyuni joins ECD from Carrier Corporation where he has served in a number of key executive leadership roles in the US, Europe and the Middle East - including serving as President of Carrier Refrigeration and President of Carrier Transicold. In this new role Amyuni will be responsible for developing the EMEA team and leading all commercial activities in those regions. Mr. Amyuni will make his office in Paris, France.
