BURBANK, Calif., Jan. 9 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Woodbury University will host a delegation of fashion and automotive journalists from China on Tuesday, January 13 for the launch of the Mercedes-Benz Smart Car in China. Fifteen members of the Chinese press and several executives from Mercedes-Benz will be on Woodbury's Burbank campus from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The official launch will kick off with a fashion event at 11 a.m. that will position the Smart Car not as an automobile, but as a lifestyle.
Seven Smart Cars, the diminutive two-seaters now sold in the U.S. and Europe, will be on the Woodbury campus for the event.
Founded in 1884, Woodbury University is one of the oldest institutions of higher education in Southern California.
