As a member, AIAG will provide all employees of Daimler AG the opportunity to work collaboratively in a non-competitive environment with OEMs and suppliers from the global automotive supply chain. These groups come together in establishing positive change with automotive standards and guidelines that result in cost-savings and impact the way business is conducted.
Among AIAG's commercial truck, off-road and heavy equipment initiatives, employees from Daimler are currently working to develop a standardized, measurable, and quantifiable tool for supplier and product reliability assurance and creating common warranty codes for global warranty processes.
