FORT SMITH, Ark., July 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Baldor Electric Company (NYSE: BEZ) markets, designs, and manufactures industrial electric motors, mechanical power transmission products, drives, and generators and is based in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

Baldor will report its 2nd quarter 2008 financial results on Thursday, July 24, 2008 after the market closes.
