BLOOMFIELD HILLS, Mich., June 25 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- TriMas Corporation (NYSE: TRS) - a diversified growth company of specialty niche businesses - today announced Edward Schwartz has been promoted to Executive Vice President responsible for the operational oversight of four of TriMas' business segments: Energy Products, Industrial Specialties, RV & Trailer Products and Recreational Accessories. Schwartz currently serves as the Group President of the RV & Trailer Products and Recreational Accessories segments, and previously was the Group President of the businesses within the Industrial Specialties and the Energy segments. Schwartz has been a member of the TriMas management team since February 2003.

Schwartz has over twenty years of experience in operational management, as well as additional experience in sales and business development. Prior to joining TriMas, Schwartz held the position of Executive Vice President for LG Philips Display, a $4 billion global joint venture company and other positions with increasing levels of responsibility at Philips Electronics.
