DANBURY, Conn., June 16 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Solomon Technologies, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: SOLM) today announced the addition of Patrick D. Coady to its corporate Advisory Board. Mr. Coady is past President of Applied Computer Technology, a microcomputer service and networking company and the retired Chief Technology Officer of Hudson Valley DataNet, the last venture he co-founded (and subsequently sold). He is also an avid sailor and long time Solomon investor.

Mr. Coady has over forty years experience working in diverse fields, including light and heavy construction, yacht and hovercraft building, micro-computer sales, service and networking. He has broad interest and experience in diesel electric propulsion and was previously a member of the US Naval Reserve, where he qualified as a submariner in diesel-electric boats. A life-long sailor, Mr. Coady is the owner of a sailboat powered by the Solomon electric drive system.

"I am pleased that Pat has agreed to join our Advisory Board," said Jim Dunn, Chairman of Solomon's Advisory Board. "Pat's entrepreneurial business experience, his marine propulsion engineering knowledge and his understanding of the unique characteristics of Solomon's technology adds an important dimension to our group. We now have a terrific breadth of knowledge in the advisory group encompassing all aspects of Solomon's technology and opportunities."

Mr. Coady commented, "I am pleased to be working with Jim Dunn and the other members of the Board in helping Solomon focus its efforts. Having been intimate with only a small portion of the Company's underlying technology, I am convinced there are tremendous possibilities on which we can capitalize. I am excited about working with the whole management team to achieve the Company's goals."

Peter DeVecchis, President of Solomon, commented, "I have known Pat Coady for some time as both an investor in Solomon and a customer for our products.
